There are always exceptions to the rule, not saying this kid is as I have never met him or seen him play. But not everything can be evaluated from a book. I am not saying you are wrong in this case but absolutes is just crazy talk. And you are taking to factors in but are you ignoring the third? I get that if he was 5'11 and 305 why he would be hard to teach fundamentals . But he is 6'3 and might grow to be 6'6 330 his height to weight ratio is already where it needs to be. I think him working with a trainer at speed works will cut down some weight and the more he works out the more his body will change naturally. This kid is just starting to mature physically.
