Definitely a drop in the bucket, but acting like there is no gun problem is how we'll end up losing the argument and losing our guns.
I was referring to this:
quote:
I'd just rather not feel responsible for another gun on the streets.
Just last week there were a couple of threads on the board about guns being stolen from vehicles and I mentioned how gui9lty I would feel if I found out someone stole one of my guns and killed someone with it, and that we need to take more personal responsibility for our guns. I was instantly labeled a bleeding heart liberal, and told I shouldn't blame the victim.
And now here's another, "someone stole my gun out my truck!" thread.
Jesus fricking Christ, if these kids don't start controlling their own guns, the liberals will do it for them. I wish they would get that through their thick skulls.
Don't leave guns in your vehicles, even if your vehicle is locked!

First off Im not a kid. Second, as I stated above, it was an accident. I always lock up everything I own, I just missed this time.
I understand your concern but berating me or anyone for making a mistake and then making fun of a serious accident like what happened is misguided.

Makes two of us now!
I made the mistake of also admitting that I'm a girly man that feels a bit impeded when I have a gun inside my waistband.
