The advantage to hosting is sleeping in your own bed, having your normal routine, having your own locker room, having your fans dominate the crowd, etc.
Well for starters you don't get that when you're the visiting team.
And the rule is stupid. You're the higher seed playing in the winners bracket. You should be able to always be the home team.

Oh that's right. They're going to make them dress in the parking lot. They won't have their dugout as the visitors but the locker room isn't the dugout.
