Pics? Six years is pretty old for any grill, unless it's seldomly (less than 4 times a year) used and kept in a climate controlled area. Things rust, corrode, wear out, etc. We would really need to see pics for a good assessment. What is the condition of the grill grates, burners, and flavorizer bars? Based on my experience, these are the parts that will need to be replaced at some point. Assuming overall condition is excellent - $300, better than average - $200, average - $100.

mines probably 5 years old and looks new, the electronic starter doesnt work but I use a lighter. $300 wouldnt be bad but try to talk him down.
