Hang gliding for me. Being strapped to aluminum and fabric at 2500 feet for 15 minutes was pretty terrifying.

Being in a charter plane crash (I was one of two survivors). You'd be amazed how fast you can get out of a burning plane with a broken leg.

Heck, probably driving through a thunderstorm in Tennessee a week ago, today. Couldn't see shite, lightning all around, hail, and tornadic like conditions.

Swimming in a lake when I was 7, I stepped on a alligator snapping turtle about the size of a car tire. I've never swam so fast in my life

Mine is probably the time I saw a chick toss a bottle of 60 Xanax, .5mgs, into her hatch amidst some really bent out of shape partying. I bolted across the room, jammed my hand in her mouth and started pulling them out, then jammed my fingers in her throat while she vomited on my arm.

fricking crazy women.

Really bad storm kicked up in Lake P one night. 3-5ft rollers. We were in a 17ft lake skiff with nothing to hold onto. Buddy flew out of the boat, and we couldn't find him for 20 minutes. I was pretty worried

Wasn't familiar with the city and took a few wrong turns in Shreveport one night and ended up deep in the hood at night and ended up getting a flat tire. I was young and had my girlfriend with me at the time who was a very attractive girl. There were a couple groups of black guys walking around and hanging out on the side of the street. A couple of them walked over, helped me change the tire, and gave me directions back to the interstate. I was scared shitless inside the whole time. After that I never stereotyped people or groups of people again.

I was going to work in Alaska and had to have a high altitude physical.

They said don't eat anything for X amount of hours bc I had to have blood work along with it. They said I had a spike in my heart rate and eventually said I could have that condition that some athletes have where they just drop dead randomly. I had to do the treadmill while hooked up and all kinds of tests. Turns out it was bc I had a coffee that morning before going in.

Fishing about 30 miles off Cameron one day, catching a boatload of snapper (before the regs). All of a sudden we noticed two crew boats untying from the rig and a guy yelling at us that it was about to get real bad (weather). We started the motor and turned the boat towards shore according to the compass to see the storm between us and where we need to go. Within 5 minutes we were riding 20' swells in a 22' boat. We could not make any headway in the direction we needed to go and the storm front hadn't even gotten to us yet. Knowing the boat would float, we figured the best thing to do was strap on the jacket and tie ourselves to the boat with a long rope so we would at least be found. About 45 minutes later, the waters literally calmed to the point that we could have skied to land.

Was standing on the runway at Moffet Field watching one of our squadron's female pilots...it was a reserve squadron, so most of the pilots and maintenance personnel were weekend warriors...doing her touch and goes in a C-130.

Except on her first attempt, she attempts her landing on the wrong runway. So she banks hard to the left...towards where we were standing...to line up on the correct runway.

This was a severe bank, in a plane that flys like a brick. I swear it looked like the wings were nearly vertical. And she was banking towards us pretty fast.

Suddenly, everyone in the group had the same thought at the same time...this was a crash about to happen. And it was going to land right on top of us. Keep in mind this all this happened in less time than it took me to write this.

We all turned around and started hauling arse back to the hangar. Then behind us, we hear the unmistakable sound of rubber hitting runway. She'd pulled it off. I still don't know how.

What I do know is, that everyone that got off that plane was white as a sheet. Except for the instructor pilot. He was red-faced. I'd never seen him so angry before.

I know, I know :csb: :picsoritdidnthappen" etc.

Car stuck on railroad crossing with train coming. Trains scare the shite out of me to this day.

Honorable mention: almost being hit by a garbage truck as a kid.

Also scared of garbage trucks.
