sorry to hear that
A really good employee (but a guy without a lot of personality) has terrible b.o. This guy has the funk. The women complain about it, but no one has gone to management.

One of my co-workers wants to talk to management about it - I want to talk to the guy one-on-one in private, approaching him in a friendly way.

What do you think?

Went with an uncle and his family on a plane trip. Landing in a storm and the plane crashes. My cousin and I were the only two who got out. She broke both arms and had a compression fracture.

It was ugly. I could tell what was coming and it seemed like two minutes (it was seconds). The impact was crushing and it was like a dream. I grabbed my other cousin, who was 8, and got out of the plane. My cousin had passed in the impact though. There were flames everywhere and the I can still remember the smell as if this happened yesterday.

Being in a charter plane crash (I was one of two survivors). You'd be amazed how fast you can get out of a burning plane with a broken leg.
People from Louisiana seem to have more knowledge about music than residents of other states.
There seems to be a witch hunt element to the Ray Nagin case, and I'm no apologist for corrupt government officials.
Thanks for all the informative responses.

Looks like I will be paying for about four licenses, which is not bad.
He was considering retiring when he died.

He had been paid a nice advance on his first album, but most of the royalties from albums one and two went to the record company.
and anyone with brains will get the two year version

Restoring Using Mirror Image

Posted by orleans_moosechops on 5/29/14 at 12:48 pm
I use Carbonite mirror image (and backup). My old computer is failing and I have a new computer.

The computer guy tells me that they cannot use mirror image to get the new computer going with all of the programs I have paid for. I don't want to have to buy the programs again. I thought mirror image was designed so that you could restore your computer without having to buy new programs?

Is there a way to use my drive mirror image to get my hard drive in my new computer to match the one I have now?

Old computer: XP
New Computer: 7

Thanks. I am very non-tech.

"Well, I had just got out from the county prison
Doin ninety days for non-support
Tried to find me an executive position
But no matter how smooth I talked
They wouldnt listen to the fact that I was a genius
The man say, we got all that we can use."

The man was a great song writer.
The NTSB report said that the pilot was overweight with cardio problems and possibly vision problems. He flew into a single tree that easily could have been avoided by moving the plane right or left.
The glass did not crack - a coating placed on the glass to prevent scratches cracked. It is designed to crack. There was no structural problem at all.
This was a very interesting thread - you should post pictures of your fossils.
In 1973, singer Jim Croce was killed in a plane crash in Natchitoches. He had played at Northwestern and was on his way to Austin College in Sherman, Texas. I learned last night that my Uncle attended Austin College at the time and had planned on going to the show.

Out of curiosity, anyone here attend Croce's last performance at Northwestern?
no doubt the feds would unload on you.

An ophthalmologist alerted me to issues that led to the diagnosis of a non-malignant brain tumor when I was in college (he saw some issues with my optic nerve when he was examining me - "it was choked"). It left my optic nerve where it permanently looks like I still have a brain tumor.

I live in a small town so I see an optometrist for my eyeglass prescriptions. She never says a word about my optic nerve.
