Help settle an argument for me please:
When a shot is made, and a player grabs the ball from under the rim to take the ball out, is that counted as a rebound??
My buddy says it isn't and I think he's pretty stupid
Would be great. People would be fighting over who takes the ball out.

If u think a player grabbing a ball after a shot is made is a rebound then you don't and never have watched basketball

Wait, that's how you know Lebron is the 2nd best ever? Using the same posts that you constantly combat and ridicule as a benchmark for an all-time ranking?

quote:I know you denied it and played dumb last time, but I'm still trying to figure out what happened for you to go from one of, if not the biggest pro-Lebron guy probably just last season to where you have to defend yourself and say you're not a lebron hater(whether you are or aren't is irrelevant to my point)
That's the thing, I'm not a "hater". Not everyone with an honest criticism is automatically a hateful bastard with no objectivity whatsoever.
What did I miss?

I don't know I think he didn't want to have to shoot free throws for the win tonight and that's not really a new thing with him
quote:He does, and so does MJ, Kobe, and virtually every other perimeter elite player.
He usually pulls up a J when he takes final shots.

The typical shel morning post strings after a Heat playoff game. Some things never change.

I'm too old to keep up with you young whippersnappers posting at all hours of the night!

How could it somehow be better to lose in an earlier round than to lose in the finals?
Because if you and your team are good enough to get there then you should be good enough to win it all if you are truly the GOAT.
It's not even that he got there and lost. It's that he got there and disappeared.
MJ may have lost in the early rounds earlier in his career but he never disappeared for a whole series. Especially not in the finals.

Not to mention you're still arguing that being, say, the 10th best team in the league 1 season is better than being the 2nd best team in the league. I firmly believe no one actually believes that despite guys saying this specifically. No way guys truly feel that way, I'm not buying it.

quote:Mj won two Nba finals while shooting 42 %. In the infamous Lebron Dallas finals, he shot 48%.......... . He also almost average a triple double with 17,8,8. Lebron played he facilitator roll that series because that is what he thought he needed to do. Him being God awful oh my godz is way overblown. He realized in the Celtics series the next year that it was his team and he needed to take over. He was 27 when he realized this. The same age I believe Jordan figured it out after getting his shite kicked in by the Pistons two years in a row(before the finals too)
