Exactly. If parts were in both universes, she wouldn't have to be smuggling parts from here to over there. Maybe the corresponding parts over there are broken or fricked up..??

Also, the tech over there is VASTLY superior to ours, yet we're supposed to believe that in a matter of days/weeks they've built the machine in its entirety over here? I'd assume that most of the tech used to build it was completely unknown to the people working on it. Having blueprints to something is one thing, but when those blueprints contain shite that literally doesn't exist in this universe..that's something different.
