I learned something worth sharing. I bought auto parts from the interwebz for the first time (autopartstomorrow.com)
Saved $175 over buying from O'Reilly (plus, got an OEM part from the web site for less than an aftermarket part at O'Reilly)
Saved $325 compared to dealer prices.
Orders over $75 = free shipping / NO SALES TAX. 2nd day UPS delivery.
Buy ammo with savings = OB relevence

Some auto companies are now matching prices on knockoff brands for OEM parts.

I saved a couple thousand dollars buying painted body parts from car-part.com when I wrecked my truck. Have also bought a bunch of other parts from there

I always use Rock Auto or Summit Racing. Rock auto has an excellent selection and a kickass return policy

Not bad. Shipping to Juneau is far more expensive than ANC. But Rock Auto still beats others pricing with shipping. Plus they give you many options on part quality and shipping. Also send a shipping label for any core returns

Google "Rock Auto discount codes" for another 5% off

Advance Auto Parts routinely have coupons for $50 off a $125 purchase and $40 off a $100 purchase, basically every couple of weeks they have new coupons for those amounts.

yep.
Friend is a mechanic and he buys all his stuff through Summit Racing or Rock Auto. You really have to be careful with some of the chains such as O'rielly and Napa, their quality isn't very good when it comes to things like Starters and Alternators. Rock Auto gives you various options from the economy, reman, new/OEM.
