And if so, did it go away, and how long did it take? Also, how bad was the pain?

Like stomach ulcer? Mouth ulcer?

Never had one in 22 years. But could only imagine drinking orange juice, making sure to hold it right on the ulcer, would help greatly

Like an actual stomach ulcer or a canker sore (very commonly called ulcers)?

Stomach, y'all. I didn't even realize people took mouth sores seriously enough to actually call them ulcers

Buy an over the counter PPI, such as Prilosec. That us pretty much what your doctor would tell you to get if you asked.
If that doesn't help, then call your PCP.
Also, watch what you eat and avoid NSAIDs.

I have not had a stomach ulcer but from what I understand (if you do) you must be very careful with all of your activities and what you eat. They can rupture and become a HUGE problem.
Otherwise I think they are relatively harmless and can be treated by "over-the-counter" drugs.

Yea, the two most common causes of ulcers are NSAIDs and H. pylori infection.
Definitely stop taking them if you are having stomach pain.
