True. And I disagree with the NFL bowing down to public outrage, but a normal company isn't dealing with a a set of employees in which a large majority has criminal records and/or are on probation.

Their board meetings aren't broadcast to millions of people every Sunday as a matter of course either though. Thereby inviting a personal vested interest in the minute by minute lives of the parties involved.

If they put it on ESPN's website every time and IBM or Apple employee got a DUI or was arrested, the companies' policies would change.
