This kid had a BMW and Daddy's credit card and could not get laid? You would think he would have just called an upscale escort service.

If you were trying to save lives by reducing guns crmimes, perhaps. This would not stop violent crime. It is proven that guns prevent violent crime...

I don't know what to say about all that. The guy was obviously mentally ill but not mentally ill enough to get treatment. It's just a fricked up situation.

Smart Weapons..seriously?
Rex, why do you hate freedom so much?
I wish we actually heard from some true liberals every now and then, and not these fascist, statist dems.

The NRA's stated, primary goal is the preservation of private firearms ownership.

We all know it is a bad idea.

All FFL holders are required to conduct a background check before completing a transfer.

I don't even know... - as far as gun IDing, pistols and rifles leave a signature mark on the projectile that can generally be identified with ballistic testing. All commercially manufactured guns are inscribed with a serial number.
Ammunition IDing? I know you want it to cost $10 a bullet, or whatever, but do you have any idea what kind of a fool's errand that is?

He was seeing a psychiatrist as well as a series of “counselors,” who were supposed to essentially act as friends and help him socialize, but Rodger’s deranged jealousy was such that it only made him more distraught when women were attracted to his counselor and though he bonded with a female counselor, she moved away, and he didn’t want another because it felt like prostitution to hire a woman to spend time with him. The psychiatrist prescribed Risperidone, an anti-psychotic drug, but Rodger refused to take it after Googling it.

I heard on the radio this morning people on twitter are calling the guy a right wing white male who did this out of hate for women....when in reality he was a mentally disturbed half white half Asian kid. And he killed men too not just women and it seemed he was frustrated not only over sex but lack of social acceptance. And he was a subscriber to a left wing blog.
Funny how Libs try to use these tragedies to set a narrative against the opposition. The guy was fricked up and he even put his plans to kill on YouTube and nobody did shite to stop it.
We need to quit with the political babbling and start institutionalizjng these type of people like we used to...this shite would stop if we wouldn't pretend nothing is wrong

how would a background check stop this?
he did a background check and passed with flying colors. gun was registered to him in the state of california.

1. who determines who is crazy?
2. he passed a background check 3 different times for his guns.

I've been hunting since I was 8. I own several guns now. In a few years, I will teach my Aspy son, whose IQ dwarfs yours, how to properly shoot a gun.
How do you propose you are going to take away this right from me as well?

All of which require a person to present an ID.
I thought having to show an ID was racist?
