Using debt is ok to go back to school, just be reasonable. Work while in school and use the loans to supplement your income.
The guy said with no degree you are screwed because you will likely have to start at the bottom. You mentioned O&G sales, any non degreed salesmen has probably spent 10 years in the field. If you want to do it right, go get an engineering degree or business degreed from a good school. If not pick an industry you want to work in and apply for entry level jobs. They are usually filled with frick ups so it's easy to advance.

If you read my post with an open mind I said without a degree you would start with reapply pay and at the bottom which I doubt you want with a kid. Again why not build up your business?
