Fox's are a bit harder to clean then gray or cat's. I hope you are removing the glands in the arm pits before cooking. By doing that, the meat is more better tasting.

As for as baiting, oh well.

I've been eating squirrel for many a moon, and I have to admit that I've never heard of anything to do with glands on a squirrel.

Any tips / insights?

What? I have skint a many fox squirrel and NEVER heard of no gland.
