I would support a New Orleans hockey team on one condition:
The arena/venue would be built somewhere in East Jefferson- Metairie, Kenner, Harahan, etc.- where all the fans would be coming from (like the Zephyrs did), and the venue would be open for ice skating year-round.
I think it would work as long as they keep everything away from downtown, and I personally would be a huge fan.
