The video is 11:31 and boring, but you idiots need to stop talking about how the draft is rigged. This is the actual footage from the 2013 Draft Lottery.

In order for the draft to be rigged, then the NBA would be putting an absurd amount at stake. Also, the process is monitored by Ernst & Young, so I highly doubt that a major corporation would risk their reputation to let a "rigged" process happen right before their eyes.

That said, the Lakers and Celtics will end up getting the top two picks.

Dunno about the rest of yall, but I'm pulling for Phoenix to get the #1 pick after the year they had.

Accounting firm Ernst & Young was sued by New York prosecutors over allegations it helped to hide Lehman Brothers' financial problems, in the first major government legal action stemming from the Wall Street company's 2008 downfall.

The civil fraud case contends that Ernst & Young stood by while Lehman used accounting gimmickry to mask its shaky finances. The lawsuit says Lehman ran "a massive accounting fraud," but it did not name as defendants any former top executives at the investment bank whose September 2008 collapse helped spark the global financial crisis.

The lawsuit seeks more than $150 million in fees that Ernst & Young received from 2001 to 2008 as Lehman's outside auditor -- less than 1 percent of its global annual revenue -- plus other unspecified damages.

Ah yeah. Ernst & Young - model of integrity.

Why?

Are they afraid of their perception of having rigged drafts?

Rigging confirmed.

The most naive statement I've ever seen. I hope you aren't a grown man.

There's no way the NBA would risk 100% of its credibility by fixing draft results.

There's no way, if they were rigging it, that it could be kept a secret.

Does anyone understand how that process works? Why did the pull 4 balls before each pick? How does having 14 balls in the lottery machine weight it more towards the teams with more losses?

Or maybe the guy running the show is actually a magician and he can use sleight of hand and whatnot to manipulate the process.
