Need some help with a morning protein shake

I need something I can chug in the morning before work. Not looking for the post-workout calorie bomb type shake. Just looking for something healthy. I've heard of people putting spinach and strawberries in their shakes, but I'm not sure how that would taste. So, this is what I was thinking of:
2 cups frozen strawberries
1 frozen banana
almond milk
rolled oats (steel cut oats)
two scoops of protein powder for ~ 50 grams protein
a handful of spinach
Any suggestions on how to make this better? Or is it a bad idea to mix the greens with the fruit?
Thanks.

I love frozen rasberrys and blackberrys in mine. I have never gone with leafy green plants. Never thought I would enjoy the taste.

Why the rolled oats? Gritty and thick in texture...no thanks. I'd rather have a handful of almonds pureed into a shake. Greek yogurt, too.

Oats for fiber. I've used them before in shakes. Their not too bad if the shake is thick enough and if you grind the oats down.

Not looking for a calorie bomb yet 2 scoops of protein? That alone is running you to 400+ cals at least right?
Anyway.
You can always add greek yogurt, PB, chai seed or any other type of seeds (but with the oats it's probably already thick enough), some ice to make it icee, kale, honey.

My husband puts spinach in his all of the time. His is like what you posted except he uses mixed berries and not nearly 2 cups, no oats, and adds coconut oil. We buy the big bag of mixed berries at Costco and fresh spinach there, too, that we freeze. We have a Blendtec so the spinach gets blended up well and he doesn't taste it. Sometimes he will use frozen kale instead of spinach. And he uses either a berry or banana protein (Dymatize Iso 100)
eta: and flaxseed. This is his post work out breakfast though.

A calorie bomb shake, to me, would be 1000+ calories. I've seen them as high as 3000 calories. 400 calories for protein powder isn't all that much.

My go-to:
1 banana
handful of berries (any combination of strawberry, blueberry, raspberry, blackberry)
handful of spinach
milk
scoop of vanilla greek yogurt
protein powder
sometimes a tablespoon of vanilla extract
I use fresh fruit btw, my smoothies always vary based off of what's on hand.

Get some gladiator protein from smoothie king...low carb, and calorie. Use frozen strawberries,a frozen bananna (not too much, can be high calorie I think), and spinach...either almonds (just a few) or oats...boom done.

don't buy anything from smoothie king...ever

Can you name something wrong with the gladiator protein powder?
I don't use it much, and the tub was given to me, but I think it is fine from what I have seen.

its mix of whey and egg protein. Not best quality. Most of all comes in around $3/serving. You can get something of much higher quality for roughly 1/3 price

Oh well, low calorie and carb...best of all free for me
Good point though

So all of you who put spinach in your shake, do you notice as differece in taste?
And what's a good, moderately priced blender? I broke my old one the other day.

I have been doing this for about two years and I can hardly tell it's there unless I load it up. I try to mix the greens up to get different nutrients, kale is the only one that really comes through.
My basic smoothie
Cup of blueberrys (I do them because I don't like he green color)
1 banana
Handful of greens
Add ins if I got
Cocumber is good and refreshing
Watermelon
Greek yogurt
Apple
Try not to add too much fruit or the sugar count will through the roof.
