Make sure your guest cottage has AC. I don't want to sweat when I come over.
How high are you going? Ours is about 16' and an elevator has become a necessity as my parents and grandparents age. Moving furniture/appliances would be difficult and dangerous without it now.
Badass, covered fish cleaning, game processing area with ample lighting and electrical receptacles is a must for a camp IMO.

This would be very high on the must list. I will try to find out who built one for one of my buddies for his camp on Grand Isle.
