In all sincerity, what have the packers truly done besides have an awesome qb? Their roster outside of a couple receivers and a rookie rb is pretty poor. Their o line, d line, secondary are average to bad, and they have an overrated star on defense because he looks like Thor. Outside of preferring Rogers to Brees (objectively and primarily due to age ) I think we've built a significantly better roster.
Eta, not meant to be in response to you breesus, just end of page.

Patriots are really overrated they have wasted about 7 years of Brady's prime by refusing to get him legit offensive weapons. If they had just drafted or signed a legit #1 WR and RB (they have plenty of cap room every year) they'd have one at least 1 more Super Bowl - probably 2 or even 3 more. Kraft is a secret cheapskate who never gets called out on it. Plus the play in the worst division in the history over the NFL over the past 12 years. Only the Jets have mounted somewhat of a challenge between 2006-2010, but the Dolphins and Bills have been consistently bad.
If the pats are "overrated", give me overrated every year. Worst division over the last twelve years but also the most consistent franchise going.

Current by organizational structure. Coaches to players (age, talent, etc...). Ascending franchises.

In the last 20 years they've made the playoffs 15x and won 2 super bowls

exactly, and they're 2 plays (1 miracle) away from having 2 more super bowls in that 7 year (wasted) span

1. New England
2. San Francisco
3. Pittsburgh
4. New York Giants
5. Green Bay
I think the Saints and Ravens are nipping at their heels but both need a longer run of quality teams to pass these 5.

If we are going by this then I am starting with the teams who are already prestigious on offense and did some big work on their defenses this off season.
1) Broncos
2) Pats
3) Saints
4) Seahawks (put them here bc they lost 6 of their top free agents.)
5) This one is tough between the Bengals, 49ers, and Cards.
I would definitely put the 49ers here but there are a lot of big question marks surrounding Cornerbacks (they lost 3 starting DBs from last season), Bowman, and Aldon Smith.
