Yep
Pistons model was just getting a bunch of lunch pail guys, Joe D. wasn't a very good drafter (fricked up badly with Mateen cleaves and Rodney White early in his tenure, he did get Mehmet Okur and T. Prince)
Ben Wallace was acquired in a trade, same for Rip hamilton and Rasheed. Prince turned out well as a draft pick and Chauncey was a good FA signing.
At the end of the day, they played really well as a team
