Remember, the muto's hunted down all the nuke subs in the Pacific and ate them, and in the time frame one on east coast couldn't have made it. No matter how it was shipped the Muto's were going to go after it. Train possibly gave them the best shot at defending it?

I just want to know why there was even a need for the male muto. The female just dug a hole and laid her eggs.

My main question is how did that nuke not wreck everything on the west coast when it went off? How did it not knock that chopper out of the air? It wasn't under water, and was only 5 minutes out.

Having the male Muto led to one of the most "oh crap" scenes when you realize that the seismic disruptions were the mutos calling for each other

No I don't remember this. I remember one Muto walking from Nevada to San Fran, and another eating a russia sub on Hawaii, but they never mentioned the others.

I knew Godzilla was the good guy once they showed all the ships floating with him.
