Not so sure. Having a good offense with two non 3pt bigs can be done. SAS (obviously), but Memphis had an offense just barely worse than the Pels, with no one as dynamic as Davis on the roster. It would require ball movement and spacing we haven't really ever seen from this team, but the passing of Davis/Monroe could make it work.

Now defensively, I see much more difficult problems with the pair and with the scheme

Here's a question I have... would Monroe be considered a 4 or a 5 here on defense?

Davis can generally play either, but the lack of talent at the 5 in the NBA right now leads me to believe that Monroe could do decently defending the 5 for us if he has help from Davis.

Outside of Cousins and Howard, there aren't a tremendous amount of centers who demand attention these days.
