Well, it didn't help free speech. What happened to tolerating speech we don't like. It seems we are less free, by the day....

If they do cut him, the proof will be in the tape.

More than that.

Cheating...cool
Violence...cool
Everything except harsh language and unpopular opinions

The NBA just crashed too. Sterling's harangue is worse than Artest beating the frick out of an innocent fan on television.

Yay PC america

I can't imagine the amount of trash talk (gay & racial slurs) that goes on in the NFL trenches. Is Michael Sam now immune in that regard too as a defensive linemen? Also what happens if he doesn't make the cut. How do you fire someone like him without it being discrimination?

I would suspect that we will see new rules around trash talking after the richard sherman blow up.

I would hope he is not offered special protection b.c he is gay.

It is a sad thing we have become so closed minded in our thoughts that we regulate others to not be able to be in disagreement with one another without some consequence for ones thoughts.

To what? An NFL where bigotry isn't tolerated? Oh my!

You claim you can't imagine it - yet your post seems to be founded in what you imagine it to be.
