I don't think he's going to be scrambling as much in the NFL as he did in college.
ETA: Damnit. Is it anchored already?

Best current pro that comes close to him at this early point is Mike Vick. Even with that said, Manziel is a more accurate passer than Vick was coming out of college
Not close to Vick's speed though.

He had the highest completion percentage of all the major conference QB's inside the pocket last year. That alone should debunk your assumption.

The knock on JFF is his accuracy in the pocket.
He completed 74 perfect of his passes from inside the pocket, better than Bridgewater, Bortles, Murray, Savage, Boyd, McCarron, Mettenberger, and Carr, but don't let facts get in your way.

FYI accuracy and completion percentage are not the same thing. Just because a pass is caught does not mean it was a well placed ball.

How often was he actually in the pocket?

He is basically a smaller, weaker but quicker Tim Tebow.
Colt McCoy is a much better comparison. Even got drafted by the same team.

You're right. Jerry Rice was a poor man's Mike Evans. That's the only reason he had a completion percentage above 20%.

Tebow even with his flaws is easily a top 40 QB in the NFL teams just don't want the drama.

A shot at what? Tebow could still be in the league if he made the switch to tight end or something. Hell, the CFL was willing to let him play QB.
Tebow would've gotten destroyed as a QB in the CFL. The field is way wider and the extra defensive player means a lot different coverage looks. You need a pretty damn good arm to succeed in the CFL.
Would've been fun to watch him though. He would've been quite the run threat.

JFF is going to be a beast in the NFL imo. Apparently the people talking poorly about his arm didn't watch his pro day or the 25 non-LSU games he played.
He fell in the draft because his size, his off the field antics, and questions about his durability. Not because of his arm.
The two best teams in the NFL, Seattle and San Fran, both have guys who use their scrambling ability quite well, but apparently Manziel's ability to scramble won't translate to the NFL.
