Hawaii health care exchange spent $10,800 per enrollee
For that they could have just bought a everyone a family plan and not wasted time with the stupid exchange.

Hmm...So has Hawaii reached its tipping point, like Guam?

What a dumb article. Want proof? Consider this closing line:
How can we have examples of single payer when we don't have single payer?
quote:
Not only would single payer cost more, it would deliver inferior results, and we now have exmaples at home to prove it.

Liar. Racist. You hate women and want to punish them for enjoying sex. You hate poor people and want them to die in the gutter. You're stupid and gullible and believe whatever Faux News tells you. The exchanges are only failing because the Tea Party sabotaged them.
There, now Tuba doesn't have to post because I covered all his canned talking points for him.

No shite. Hell just send everyone a check and eliminate most of the admin cost.

He explained himself in that article..Did you choose not to read it? I can't believe Mods are so dumb as to let you continue to pull this shite...Unless you are baiting a VA reply, by stating an obvious ignorant omission....

Uh, it's pretty obvious. But I'll spell it out for you. Single payer is govt run. This article shows an example of how govt runs things.

Rex how about giving me an example of a single payer system you like.
Also--what was wrong in your opinion with Ryan's proposal to use vouchers instead of direct government purchase of health are services?? Is that not very near single payer for a large portion of the US?

I read it. The VA is not an example of single payer. The VA exists within a national system of health care that includes private health insurance as its major component, and is affected by that major component. Single payer means exactly that: the government as the SINGLE dominant provider of health care in this country.

Rex,
You say you got a real solution

We'd all love to see the plan

Figured you were baiting that response, such an a-hole..

And you don't see how the OP indicts that? Really?

If we had single payer with government hospitals I wonder if Rex would support all the decisions a party in power would make concerning the care such hospitals would provide?
What idiot would want to put such decisions in the hands of government???
Would Rex support only having one choice in health care if those in power decided they would give no care to gays?
Why would anyone think such conflicts would not come up?

I love it when you post opinion pieces as news articles. Hell, your link couldn't write its own news, it had to source someone else's.

I don't want the gov't running my healthcare. Do you realize how stupid that is? Why do people want govt to do everything for them?
Next you will be asking for a govt appointed agent to hold it while you peee and wipe your arse after you crap

When did he say he wanted the government to run our healthcare in this thread?

I didn't make the statement. I don't religiously follow Rex's post history.
