We caught the ferry at Anacortes and went on a whale watching tour. (there are several outfits to choose from) We had heard mixed reviews...some said it was a total waste of time, never saw a single whale, but others said it was awesome. Our trip turned out to be fantastic! And hey, even if you don't see any wildlife, the scenery is gorgeous and well worth the trip.

Shiiiiit I'd say lets get some a beer but I'll be crossing paths with you and will be in Louisiana for 10 days haha. Speaking of Beer, best place in the America for it is right here. Every where is a brewery, take your pick. I like Elysian Brewing and The Mens Room.

Depends on what you like, really. If you like scenery I'd recommend going to Snoqualmie Falls and Mt Rainier National Park. Like most have said the food is ok, Mediterranean Grille is really good. I personally love eating at the Crab Pot and the docks down there are pretty cool.

IMO Washington is by far the best place in America for scenery, and if you have time to explore I definitely recommend doing some hiking out here.

If you really want to golf, drive south about an hour to University Place and golf at Chambers Bay... I'm serious, if you do any golfing you better do that. It hosts the US Open next year and the views there are breathtaking. Its on the Puget Sound.

Went with the whole family to that game and it was a blast. Salty’s on Alki Beach for Sunday Brunch was one of the best spreads I have ever seen. Great food and great view.
Side note, my kids got pics with all the players at the space needle, just happened to go when the team was taking their tour.

Go to Kels Irish Pub close to the Market, wear an LSU shirt & they will love you. I am pretty sure LSU fans still hold the record for number of kegs sold. The mgt and staff loved us. Mt. Ranier is worth it, even if you only get half way up on a good weather day. A great city with lots to do but Vancouver is worth the trip, too. You'll need some ID to cross over but not a passport as I recall?

That recently changed. You need a passport or an enhanced drivers license.

Eat some blue point oysters and some seafood in some of the seafood restaurants on the side of the hill sloping down to the water on the west side. It had been so long since I have been there I can't remember any of their names.

If you head over to Bellevue, a suburb of Seattle, go check out my cousin's microbrewery, Geaux Brewing.

Seattle is great! Everything everyone has said on here is pretty much dead on. Rainier and Everest were incredible. The market was cool.
And we won that game so the trip was even better. The Washington folks(who were cool for the most part) told us that PAC-12 teams didn't even bring this many people.
LSU fans are like the Pittsburgh Steelers fans in the NFL. Best traveling bunch of crazies in the country.

We went to a small German like town, I believe the name was Levinworth, just about an hour east of Seattle. Had a great day, very much worth the trip.
