Just sucks there are a few studs ahead of him on the board in state. He'll end up with a good program though.
I wouldn't want to be a RB behind Fournette, Williams, Brossette and Guice (potentially)

At 5'8", only spot you can really put him is APB
already committed to Nebraska. That is awesome. Would like to compare him with Merritt and Anderson (Katy, TX)

I'm really sad that he DE committed from Tulane. Would be a stud there.

I dont see him listed as a top 10 RB anywhere...
And you asked what does he have to prove? A lot. Every year LSU has guys that are under the radar type players that go to camp and dominate. And they end up with an offer. And most of those guys make a significant impact at LSU.
If he wants an LSU offer, going to camp is his best bet to get 1. By going to camp, you force the staff to watch you. You make them notice you. And it gives them the opportunity to be kinda hands on with the players. They get to see how coachable this kid is and how responds to criticism.
And like other people said, the state of LA is always loaded. We pass on really good players every single year. Its just how it is. You cant take everybody. You have to decide who you want. And, LSU has a few other guys ahead of Bussey. With a few of them in state as well. Just how it is.

If he really wants to play at LSU, he should go to camp and get his offer like Russell Gage did.

Holy crap I'm getting old!! I remember his dad from HS, he was a huge RB. I was a sophomore at Brother Martin and those Shaw teams were legit. His momma must've been short, cause Kendal was huge. Or maybe I was small:). I do remember him, Murray White & few other Shaw guys were starting shite at the old Friar Tucks on Claiborne. Ah the good ol days.

Bruh if Trindon Holiday barely touched the field and he was a 5'6-5'7 world class sprinter...guess what
I heard LSU moved away from the small backs. the reason being that they can be separated from the ball too easily because of small hands.
