Trot lines and jugs too?

We can buy them, which makes absolutely no sense if we can't buy yo-yo's.

same here...all of that is illegal in MS...

When did that happen? I fished in MS about 5 years ago and yo-yos were all over the lake I was fishing at. First time that I ever saw them.

I grew up in the children's home in Monroe. My houseparent and I would run yoyo's in Bayou Desiard. Caught tons of sacalait in there.

Definitely not cheating. A great excuse to booze cruise all night.

I ran yo yo's on Bayou Desiard growing up as well. Caught many big sacs on yo yo's there, that place was underrated for fishing.

My only issue w/ yo yo's is overfishing them in some places. We used to have a ball running yo yo's on saline/larto but now every tree in the damn place has a yoyo.

You grew up in Monroe and you caught what?

Does not compute.

The limit is 50 regardless of how you catch them but it is hard to overfish white perch.
