Similar deal to Byrd, almost same amount guaranteed, but 2 year shorter deal. They'll have to pay for Sherman and Wilson soon too but can they Loomis like we Loomis?

It belongs on the MSB, and there's already a thread there.

Don't mind my brother. He's been cranky ever since he put the plug in the jug.

a better question would be.
If earl thomas got the extension BEFORE FA started...
Would Byrd be a saint?
Would we have paid what we paid?
Would he be averaging 10mil/yr?

But paying sherman/thomas/wilson a combined 45-50 mil a year?
Harden is getting paid 10.5 mil and can't stay healthy

Isn't Byrd averaging 10/year with us too? Wasn't it 6 years for 60 mil?

i don't know the exact numbers but i had read about it the day how they will still have all sorts of room for those three. they can't sign wilson until next season.
quote:
As of Monday, Seattle was listed as having $14.7 million in cap space for the 2014 season and it was expected that Thomas’ deal would be structured in a way to maintain the cap room to extend Sherman, and also deal with Wilson in a year.
