If you can't lead your NBA team with multiple all-stars past the first round, you aren't a top 5 player.

There are as many current/former all-stars on the Pels as there are on the Rockets. One team finished with the 4th best record in the conference and the other finished with the 4th worst record in the conference.

False

One team also stayed healthy all year.

Your 6 best players combined for 421 games of a potential 492 (85.6%). 26 of those games were missed by your better defensive PG Beverley, but one of your two all stars.

The Pelicans' 5 best players combined for 259 games of a potential 410 (63.2%).

Big difference. If the team was healthy with the same results, I would say yeah we suck, but the team wasn't healthy all year.

We had a dleague player start as our PG for 3/4 of the season before a moronic coach decided to throw his 2nd best player available into the starting lineup.
