The Chris Paul veto - think the NBA regrets it now?

For "basket ball reasons" they kept Chris Paul from the Lakers to build the clippers.
Now, the NBA's biggest cash cow - L.A. - is taking hits with both teams these days.
Some of these owners will be kicking themselves when the big revenue divy comes this year.

No, that "veto" was better for the value of the New Orleans franchise by not piling bad contracts on it. That resulted in a higher sales price and profit for the owners who collectively owned the franchise.
Do you even remember what the deal was? Basically, it was Luis Scola and a tall crackhead for Chris Paul.

I dont think the Clippers are regretting it, and they seem to be doing just fine in attendance and popularity (outside of their owner).
