I've been with a cousin when the transom straps were left on. Took us a few minutes to realize why the boat wasn't floating

Went fishing with a friend and his friends boat up north. First time I was introduced to a trailer with rollers. Boat is a 24' deep vee, I unhook boat like I've always done on a skid trailer while everyone else is getting ready. About halfway backing down the launch the boat takes off the trailer hits the launch and slides about 15' on concrete. Luckily motor was up and didnt hit, had to push boat another 10' to float it the re-trailer ed and luckily only some gelcoat damage on the bottom of transom and some minor scraping from the concrete.

sitting at the launch i see about a 24 foot yellowfin. we were just getting back from duck hunting in january, so the tide was LOW. NO ONE was in the boat to take it off the trailer, it took 3 people to grab ropes to pull it off. the guy ended up backing the trailer too far and off the ramp since the tide was low, and the yellowfin scraped bottom because of the 3 people pulling it off with ropes....

about 3 weeks ago we saw someone putting a blue wave up and hearing bad scraping sounds and knocking. first, the guy didnt put up his trim tabs and they hit the trailer. We then hear him yelling at his wife to "crank it up", since he couldnt get the boat on the trailer. I see her cranking as fast as she could, only to realize she was cranking the jack on the tongue up, not the winch
