Great Southern Cafe has a pretty killer oyster po-boy and Shrimp & Grits. Food trucks are good as is Bud & Ally's Taco Bar.
If you want something upscale, Caliza in Alys Beach is a must. George's in Alys Beach is also very good.
ETA: I also recommend making the short drive over to Rosemary Beach for some alfresco dining at La Crema. Great wine, dark chocolate dipped bacon, and some interesting fondue selections. My gf was in heaven there, lol.

Great grouper sandwich. Hard to impress with a fried fish sandwich, but it's surprisingly good.

My wife loves the shrimp and grits there. Pretty sure she'd get that at least once everytime she went.
