It was a long time ago, but I followed the rules on the table. I rolled until I won. They slide my winnings to me and then I just said let it ride. I hit again two more times. I decided to walk way. You are obviously a serious craps player.

You do know you can't just pick up your original bet until you roll 7, right?
Exactly. Everything but your back bet is staying on that table.

I either came out with a winner or I hit my number before crapping out...
Just an FYI, you don't crap out after the point has been established. You seven out. Craps (2,3,12) don't mean much once the point has been established.

In Vegas and decided to check out the Hooters Casino with a couple of friends. By the time we walked there my friends had to piss so I put $20 in a $1.00 slot machine and hit the max spin button. I was just trying to be discreet checking out the scenery (which as it turns out is really poor) and the damn machine is making all kinds of racket. I look down and I hit a jackpot for 5000. My buddies come back and the machine is still rattling off credits and we are fired up. I then look down and realize it is a machine that can play .05/.25/$1.00 and sure enough the damn thing was set at $0.05. Thus, I hit a jackpot and walked away pissed off!
On a golf trip where we stayed at The Beau Rivage, I sat down with a buddy at the blackjack table and saw him pull out $700 and he cashed out six hours later for $61,000. They comped 12 rounds of golf at Fallen Oak and all the drinks and cigars we wanted at the course.

I guess we can chalk that trip up to beginners luck. I know I had to put my money on the table and I know I keep rolling until they finally matched my money three (3) thrice tres times.

I like that story. And yeah, the scenery at the Hooters casino is pretty bad.

I have benefited from dumb play. The worst beat for me was a guy doubling down on a $10 blackjack. I'm sitting with 600 out there and by him doubling the dealer makes a hand. He actually was gonna get paid 15 but bet an extra 10 to win 5.

Went to Vegas with $4k and bet every penny on LSU over Virginia Tech within 4 hours of landing. They had to give me a bag to carry my cash out.

Hit a $4000 jackpot the day after my 21st birthday. My dad took me and I put $5 in a slot machine waiting for him to come back from the bathroom. He saw security and thought I was in trouble.
Used to play relatively high stakes blackjack (for a kid in college) at the Belle after bar shifts downtown and made way more money there than I ever made bartending. Did that for 4 years and when I graduated I had enough money for a down payment on a ballin arse house.
Sat at a blackjack table in Vegas with the CEO of Mitsubishi, Phil Mickelson and his wife, and Steven Speilberg. Believe it or not I was the least famous person at the table

Got a few. Snow skiing trip at Lake Tahoe. First night there, hit 2000 at a poker machine, royal flush betting 75 cents I believe.
Duck hunting se of Lake Chuck, ramble over to the (now gone) Harrahs, and end up winning 1300 in two trips over the weekend on craps.
Marksville for the birthday Sundays they used to and may still have, and while I'm waiting on my wife to get her perks, no more than 15 minutes, I hit a slot for 1200.
And lastly we are up at the Shoe in Bossier City, and I was learning the ropes at a busy crap table. Just betting the pass line, the dice come my way and I roll some hard eights and this dude on the end of the table started placing bets for me and I rake in 200 for the rolls. Guy next to says I just won him over 2500.
