I believe anc is posting this thread to get some ideas to discuss the topic with this daughter. She's probably grappling with the idea of going off to the northeast alone all by herself away from friend and family in a different culture.

Maybe anc can take 3 or 4 trips up to Princeton a semester to help her adjust or until his daughter gets sick of him coming up there.
