Oh for frick's sake. Your kid can get into an Ivy league school and you are worried about politics?

By all means talk her out of the chance for her to be set for life.

typically, those who are top of their class at lesser college do more with their life than middle-tier ivy students

where you graduate means more, on the whole

THIS! I can't believe the OP is even debating this in his head. Don't be scared that your kids may grow up to think differently than what you have indoctrinated them with their entire lives
