I was in a 7 or 8 car wreck. I was not driving. Car was stalled at the top of a bridge without their hazards on. Car in front of us stopped, we stopped and the car behind us hit us, forcing us into the car in front of us and them into the first car. Then a couple other cars joined in. We felt 2 or 3 more hits. My friend was not at fault for any of it. Of course the three or four cars behind us tried to blame all the hits on the last car.

I guess maybe it's different at a traffic light?

So if you are 1 to 3 car lengths behind someone and get rear ended so hard you hit the next car, it is your fault?

From what I remember, I agree. They let the Ins. Co. work out the details.
