I do it all the time. Practice getting the rods in and out of the rod holders, practice putting fish into the fish bag, etc.

Yes, but only to make sure the paddle would clear the rod holders and other stuff

And to figure out where to mount the cleats










And then sometimes I just sat in it and drank a beer instead of sitting on the sofa because I'm giddy like a school girl
