Hell I make 42k a year, have a house, etc and I'm able to do what I want as long as I'm not stupid with my money. I mean I take one week long vacation a year, a few weekend trips a year, and I go out and eat every other week.
Now I won't go out and buy a 60k car or truck because that's just stupid

Smart fellow.
That is what kills most young people. They just have to buy that big ticket item. 
My daughter wanted to do that, but talked her out of it.
She ended up buying a used Hummer at a great price. I'm talking about the big Hummer and it is a POS. But, she had to have it.
