I know he visited before, but now with him being cleared and us having the extra change. What do Y'all think?

I want to see more Falcon Board Meltdowns when Loomis finds the money to sign him.
Seriously, why not check up on him? He's still 27.

I'd love the move at the right price. Maybe a one year prove it deal? By that I mean prove he can stay on the field. We know he can produce when healthy

Like Champ, it's a no lose signing if it's for a low cost. Rice was very talented when healthy, so it's worth the risk to bring him in and see if he still has it. The dude is not old, so why not take the chance at striking gold?

Maybe he has more left than Meachem. He's about done.

We won't sign Miles Austin, so sure.

I could've sworn he was like 31-32
Like Champ, I wouldn't mind the signing with a smaller contract

I'd be ok with it if the price was right. Rice looked really good playing with Favre, so it's very possible that Drew could make him look like a star again. That is if he's willing to take a very large pay cut from what he was getting in Seattle, and if he can stay on the field.

In 2012, he played a full season and had 50 receptions, 748 yards, and 7 TDs...he's a very good blocker...ranked the #13 WR according to PFF.
...he will cost next to nothing, and as stated, he's only 27.

He's always been pretty meh and now coming off an injury. Might be good to just see if he has anything left and cut him in camp if not.
