You don't think Rainey's non-residency in St George is relevant to the discussion? Especially when YOU bring up non-residents who oppose St George in your OP??

FWIW, I don't see any of the legislative proposed changes in the process to be onerous. In fact, all of the proposed changes are very reasonable in my opinion.

Rainey is hired by SG proponents to represent them. Are you saying the Bogalusa and the Gonzales rep. are bought and paid for too?

You see nothing wrong with changing the rules in the middle of the game, or a two year moratorium on ALL incorporations statewide????

BTW, the law they want changed was enacted in 1898. Now all of a sudden it's a bad law and all these people statewide are involved!!!!

Again as a small govt. type, and a sellf proclaimed conservative, I would think you'd acknowledge that stuff like this is dirty pool. But hey............ maybe I shouldn't assume, right???
