Again, Flash would get to Thor and vibrate through his chest before Thor could blink.

I don't like using a full powered insert any DC character argued so far if we aren't using full powered every other super hero.
FIFY
This has been the theme of the tournament really. One side seems to always have the advantage of being the most powerful iteration while the other side is the average version.

Regardless of the outcome, I'm satisfied Barry Allen is finally getting the respect he deserves.

It doesn't matter anyway since it appears Mr. Sinister will be in the villains bracket.

Sinister is not unbeatable.
I in no way consider him god tier.

how has he lost in the past? i imagine it takes another telepath

He's been killed off a few times.
He's been at his best as a minion for someone else, like styrfe and apocalypse.
on his own he's always fallen flat on his arse.
oh, lets not forget Cyclops single handedly tapped that arse.

I would think any sort of strong blast like Cyclops' would hurt Mr Sinister.

It does. He has a crazy healing ability though. This of course does not stop him from being killed. Enough shots, slashes, or blast would quickly incapacitate him.
He is not feared for his combat prowess, more his ability to manipulate people. He mostly works from behind the scenes.
I mean Gambit has handed him his arse before.

Underrated power set, IMO

Absolutely. A fully powered Gambit is a true badass.

And Nightwing has taken out the Flash before.
Let's make it clear here gentlemen.
You've set a precedent with the Flash and Thor debates and eventual wins.
These win's aren't completely based on what these characters have done but what they CAN do. And if we're taking away from characters for their past defeats, than you all have to hold a re-vote for at least the final 8 of the heroes bracket because for every "Gambit has handed him(Sinister) his arse before", there are at least 100 embarrassing losses for Thor and Flash.

Eh Thor has fewer than most heroes though.
