Up 30-40 cents a gallon in Alabama over the past 2 weeks.

Wonder if that's a state or regional thing. Gasoline prices in NH have gone up by only $0.009 per gallon in the past month.

"Including the change in gas prices in New Hampshire during the past week, prices Sunday were 3.6 cents per gallon lower than the same day one year ago and are 0.9 cents per gallon higher than a month ago. "

It is being blamed on the change over from winter to summer gas. We're actually in a shortage situation in Alabama at the moment, we're only allowed a little better than half the usual allocation of normal. Pipeline normally ships in on a 5 day schedule, so it is probably on a 9 day schedule atm while the refineries scale back the winter production and ramp up the summer gas.
