Why?

so he gets another concussion and then what? severe permanent brain damage?

And people thought I was crazy when I said that ESPN had him on LSU's list of draft eligible players.

Doubt he would do it without the approval of much more qualified doctors than the posters here.

For reals, doctors just want money, we just want what's best for the players.

Maybe an entire season off has allowed his health to improve

So the doctors were able to do something that made him not so prone to getting concussions?

Guess he thinks NFL collisions will be easier on cranial region?

So he can say he did everything possible to recover from concussion, but still can't play. He can then collect on the player disability insurance policy.
That's just a guess. He should stay away from any contact to his head. His last one he was out cold for over 5 minutes.

Maybe the ole boy is still in top shape and is doing it for the hell of it. I ask this question why is Jordan Jefferson doing it?

He wants to play professional football?

If I remember correctly, Williford was a pretty talented lineman when he played for LSU. If he was able to get his health straightened out, then I say good for him.
As for Jefferson... I don't know the guy, but from a purely objective standpoint, he was not an SEC-caliber quarterback, and there is no way in hell he is an NFL clipboard-holder-caliber quarterback.

I'm not sure you can get your health straightened out once you start down the road with concussions. You're certainly more susceptible after the first one. He is playing with fire but hopefully he makes the right decisions.

They scanned his cat, coach said he could play.
