Why recast one at a time each phase when you have such a large database of characters to use in the near future. They should recast Tony Stark, Steve Rogers, Black Widow, Thor, etc. (All big names going strong right now) within a year or so of each other, because all of their contracts should be up around the same time. The big news today is that apparently Feige has sketches for films all the way out to 2028.
That's INSANE, but I believe it. The way they've constructed this world, it feels like they want to dominate film with this kind of storytelling. That means they have to have something epic for the recast. Reset everything at once, have the same characters, but tell different stories. Should be fun.
