Some people are acting as if Jennings is a returning 2-3 year starter.

I believe AJ has talent, as well- but anyone who thought Jennings had this job locked up going into spring is kidding themselves. It will become more and more clear that Harris is the future QB, as we move forward.

Ditto. People act as of AJ was ZM. The dude had one good drive against an abysmal Arky squad. Then he sucked against Iowa. Then he sucked in the Spring game. Idk why people act as if he has accomplished so much as a QB for LSU.

What many of us struggle to come to terms with is that through the Arky game 99% of the reports on AJ were glowing positive. Then came the abomination in the bowl and since most of what we hear is nothing but his flaws. Did AJ regress that much?

Why don't we tar and feather him right now. He sucks, he sucks, he sucks! He will never improve. Do I have you right?

Why do some of our fans have to sh$t on one of our players to build up another player. Why are we so quick to throw players in the garbage if they don't immediately meet our expectations. Why can't we treat them like we would a friend or family member who we would argue can improve. get better and do a great job.

And then we wonder why some local players who follow LSU closely, and witness these "fans" attitudes toward players, choose not to represent these wonderful "fans".

How do you consider sucking when we did what he had to against iowa who had a top ten defense and he was a true freshmen.

JH33 was the MVP though.

I don't mean to be critical of the kid. After all- we aren't talking about professional athletes. I believe they are all giving their best efforts, and are all still learning the system.

I'm just looking at the two guys who are the implied front runners- and of those two I just happen to believe BH has the more likely chance of becoming the starting QB at LSU, this season. Just my personal opinion based on what I seen and believe.
I believe he is prototypical of what the coaching staff has been looking for at that position. And I'm not alone in thinking that.

After the bowl game and watching the spring game videos I don't think there is any way miles and cam can start jenings over harris.

It will be a work in progress either way. Might as well start the kid with more upside. By mid year he could really be clicking. Jennings looks horrible in his footwork...decision making..trajectory and accuracy of throws and quickness from under center. Recipe for disaster.

Question:

Between Jennings and Harris who is considered to be the better runner?

Anthony Jennings was a true freshman.

Playing against a top 10 Iowa defense.

In the rain.

On the road.

In a bowl game.

In his first ever start in college.

And the offense was not tailored to him. (Cam said this)

On national TV.

And Jeremy Hill was completely unstoppable.

And we won the game.

It infuriates me to no end that people judge the kid by that game. Lets judge him by Wisconsin.
