I'm pretty reluctant to watch this after II shite the bed, but I have heard a lot of "positive" things about it....and by positive I mean most say it's better than II.

It's pretty good. It's not as good as the first one, but better than teh second one. Nothing special about it, but they did at least attempt to make a new plot up instead of just rehashing exactly what happened in the first one but more over the top (a la Hangover 2).
It's just that...pretty good. You won't feel like you wasted your time watching it IMO.
