I am moving to Pittsburgh in July, so I am going to look for a place this weekend. Anyone have suggestions of places to try this weekend or once I move up there?

Good German food, Good sandwiches, Good beer. Much too early for Oktoberfest, but that is nice too.

Web Site

Youngest son lives in Troy Hill at the top of the hill where the brewery is located.

I stopped for a minute to look at their menu. Excellent Angry German Food.

Lidia's Pittsburgh - Great Italian

That one belongs to Lidia Bastianich of Public TV and her son. Excellent Italian food

I like Pittsburgh. Nice Rusty Coal dusty town. Really hilly. Lots to do there, good people. Several good Vietnamese restaurants, none of which I remember names. Good Thai food, none of which I remember the names.

I can get you names, but I'd start with those two. Go to the strip and get blown away with ethnic food stores. Was a guy selling soft fish tacos from a cart on sidewalk in front of one place. Incredible.
