Was a project and still is one. He'll probably end up being a decent offensive big. Now if he doesn't learn to play defense will decide how long his career will be.

I think being drafted by the Blazers is the kiss of death for young talent, unless you're ready to start from day one. They've done nothing to develop their young talent and let them waste away on the bench before releasing them. Obviously I'm not talking about players like batum and Lillard who were ready to start from day 1, but players like Will Barton, Babbitt, Nolan Smith, Elliott Williams, Victor Claver, the list goes on. Send them to Europe for some seasoning or something.
