When I was making baits my best seller hands down was watermelon/red. A very distant second was watermelon/gold or watermelon seed.

I try to keep 3 color types on hand. In no particular order, black base with fleck, watermelon base with fleck, and root beer base with fleck.

Green pumpkin with purple flake. Rigged wacky or on a 4/0 gam. wide gap worm hook.
